We used Robert for our recent trip to El Salvador and had a wonderful experience. Nature hikes, bird watching, papusa class, Mayan sites, coffee tours and lots of history about the country. Robert was very knowledgeable and professional. Highly recommend him and Gringo Tours!

I reached out to Robert a while back about wanting to take a weekend trip to El Salvador. I only had 36 hours to spend in the country, and I wanted to do as much as possible in the short time I had. I mentioned the things I definitely wanted to see (Los Chorros de la Calera and Los Tercios waterfalls), and Robert helped me plan an amazing itinerary around this, with other activities including a visit to Joya de Ceren, walking around Laguna Verde, a pupusa making class, tours of the towns around Juayua, and a tour of the town of Suchitoto, where he lives. Robert is incredibly knowledgeable about El Salvador, and I learned a ton on my short visit about the history and culture of the country. I also loved learning how to make pupusas with Tita as well--they were delicious! I had an incredible weekend trip overall, and I highly recommend booking with Gringo Tours on your visit to El Salvador!
