On July 14, 1993, the Chapultepec Public Library was founded and, in the month of its anniversary, authorities of the Ministry of Culture and the Embassy of Mexico in El Salvador together with users of this center that houses an important bibliographic cultural heritage celebrated and recapitulated about the role of libraries in society. The library is named after the city of Chapultepec (Mexico), where a year before the signing of the Peace Accords that culminated in the Salvadoran civil war. Currently, the enclosure is in charge of the librarian María del Carmen Molina and within the new organizational chart of the Ministry of Culture depends on the General Directorate of Territorial Networks The library is located in the center of San Salvador, Avenida España No. 530, accessible by different urban bus routes. There is very little written about this library. What we can say is that it has an almost complete collection of Colombian Gabriel Garcia Marquez Nobel Prize books, reason for more to visit. We invite you to do and enjoy an atmosphere of relaxation and learning, if you want to escape the noisy world of networks and virtuality, come and love a book.
