It is a fantastic place where you meet art in all its colors. Small children up to adults promote their roots with pride as a sign of wanting to be proud of their roots. They taught me that with a bit of perseverance in creating something others will appreciate what we are.

The House of Culture of Panchimalco keeps one of the oldest techniques in the country: the fabric of the panchos cloths, in addition to different blankets for everyday use and clothing. On its walls you can see the story of such a famous cloth and of which it kept the tradition alive, Mrs. María Cleofes Rivera who learned from her mother. Inside the building there are many cultural activities for children, youth and adults. They have a good repertoire of paintings and the history of Panchimalco. Recommended for lovers of Salvadoran and culture. Eye: Photos are prohibited in certain areas.

I could not get in. It was closed on Sunday. It seems bad to me because Panchimalco is a land of identity and it is a pity that it is closed on Sundays. They told us that they would possibly open until 4 in the afternoon, something illogical for tourists, because many of us can arrive on excursions and at that time the buses leave for their home destinations. Too bad for the mayor's office.
