The music and videos shown inside the buses are not appropiate for children and also its too loud!

Be careful of your valuables. I've used the yellow taxis here many times with no trouble. Agree on price ahead of time. The area around the terminal sometimes isn't the best to be around alone. If traveling to other El Salvador departments in the occidente, I suggest always asking for 'especial'. You pay a tiny bit more but usually get air conditioning and can store luggage. I feel they are safer as they make fewer stops. I've used especial between here and Santa Ana and Sonsonate and never had trouble. I've never had anybody mess with my luggage stored under the bus. Drivers and helpers are curtious but generally don't speak English.

San Salvador is beggar country

I have always traveled from that terminal for years and thank God it is very good to me I have no complaints
