Was amazing I would give a 5 star but the road going up is horrible, but when you get there is worth the drive . Make sure you take a 4x4 truck , because you are going to need . Actually the place is a 4 1/2 star .. and they are building cabins , and you can camp to. Bring your tents . ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 1/2

Excellent place for camping overlooking the Golfo de Fonseca. The road up can be done in a 2x4 car if you take it easy. Maybe use 1st gear on the way down instead of brakes. You can park here and explore or camp overnight seeing both the sunset and sunrise. There is a shop and a restaurant for dinner and breakfast. Basic food but well cooked. All sorts of drinks, alcohol and snacks are sold at the shop. There is a bus twice a day from La Union I think. Afternoon one at 3pm. Check this time though. There is a tower you can climb up for a 360 degree view. This place is well worth a trip if you are in the most Eastern part of the country. It is a 3-hour drive from San Salvador.
