Xochikalko Restaurante

Came for dinner. It was cool out so we had bowl of traditional chicken soup and tortilla soup along with a few papusas. It was all awesome and delicious. The service was also great. Restaurant and banos are very clean. I will come back again.

Xochikalko was a wonderful restaurant, that worked to accommodate a large group for an entire week! We are so grateful for their hospitality, incredible food, and wonderful atmosphere! Absolutely recommend!

Unfortunately i came here based on the reviews. All i can say was it’s extremely disappointing. The Caesar salad is not even close. Its a mixed green salad with tomatoes green peppers, broccoli, sautéed onions topped with a store bought unflavoured dressing. I ordered the sopa de gallina and got a chicken leg instead of soup. When i said it was not what i ordered, the kitchen staff were laughing when they brought out soup. Doesnt instill confidence. The soup was not really that good and had absolutely no chicken/gallina meat in it. I have had better soup in small villages where they dont access to much. A very disappointing experience.

My family and I loved the environment and the tacos. Service was great and food came at the right time. Food is a little pricy (which is why we end up ordering tacos) but it's ok if you're getting something good afterwards.

Good place to eat, friendly staff. Right on the heart of the town.
