Centro Escolar Cantón Ojo de Agua

The Cantón Ojo de Agua School Center was founded approximately in 1995 by the teacher. Susana Rivas, who at that time was a mixed rural school and operated only with first grade. He began his work with few students, requesting collaboration from the cantonal commissioner who was the leader of that place, to convene a meeting of parents and explain the case, the meeting was a success, significantly increasing the enrollment, his first classes they received under some trees, then in a raft of coconut palms after they moved to a cellar of a private house they also operated in an adobe house owned by the municipal mayor's office until in 1985 the premises no longer provided coverage, Professor Samuel Rodríguez, director of the school, managed before the Ministry of Education and the Social Investment Fund (FIS) to build the school, complying with the necessary requirements to carry out the work, building a school with a modern infrastructure.
