Tamarindo beach is a beautiful place to vacation to go to bathe in the river Lempa, bus and vehicles arrive to the shore, there are spacious trees with shade and you can cook outdoors and make picnic. It is tradition that families go to make chicken soup on January 1 and Easter. There is the hammock bridge that transports to the other side, El Vado, which is already Chalatenango. Nearby there are sale of pupusas, typical and drinks in small stores.
