Beautiful and unique hotel located inside the town’s fort. The decor in the rooms feels a bit 90s, but the common areas are spotless.
Loved the traditional character of a nice hotel
Hey, have you ever seen that Steven King movie about the hotel? That's it... Breakfast is inedible. Makrud, halva and tea -- that's about all you can eat. Oh, and they got roaches, too.
Good location tho
While visiting Kairouan, we popped in for Lunch and the hotel is fabulous. Lunch buffet was excellent and the right amount of choices. It was a hot day and entering the hotel was like a oasis. Beautiful courtyard with a very inviting swimming pool. Shame the staff were a bit grumpy and unattentive. Otherwise a great place to eat and stay.
Food and atmosphere really good. Stopped here for lunch on our visit to Kairouan.
