Club Tropicana

Nice and clean. Only reason i gave 3 stars because of the receptionists , they are rude and they think that they are hosting you in their homes. No smiles no customer service and bad attitudes and there is no one to complain to. Receptionists are the first impression of a hotel or business.

We didn't pay particularly much for this holiday so didn't have overly high expectations. It didn't get off to a great start (but was fine after that don't worry) as the initially allocated room was really not clan and in quite a bad state of repair. Complained to reception (before unpacking) and we were moved to an almost identical room on the opposite side overlooking the front, apart from the shower being a bit grubby on the grouting it was 100% better and absolutely fine. We only really had dealings with reception on check-in, check-out and to find out when the doctor was visiting as I got food poisoning after about a week. Couldn't attribute it to anything in particular but the £70 bill for the medication and consultation by the visiting doctor wasn't cheap, however after a couple of days I was back to normal, so can't complain too much either. Service by the waiter who attached himself to us was excellent, really good, for all meals - attentive but not intrusive, constantly refilling or replacing glasses of wine and beer. Pool bar service was good, but not as good as the beach bar service, the young fella basically waited on us hand and foot (as he did with others too) and took loungers out to wherever you wanted them. Entertainment team for hotel were lively around the outdoor pool, indoor pool is a nice touch. Private beach area had a security guard on to stop people coming into hotel and the loungers are all free. We tipped accordingly which was about a months wage to him same for the waiter. Food was OK, not great, but not bad, standard buffet affair not changing at breakfast or lunch, but a few variances each night. The Tunisian themed food night was good and also provided a display by all the waiters and some kitchen staff of traditional Tunisian fire show. Horse riding and parascending/sailing are available on the beach, wear jeans or trousers for the horse riding (massive blisters on leg). All in all, for the right price, would return. It gets 3 stars as it is, well, 3 stars. 4 for the staff though. Photos included of most aspects.

Lovely hotel nice & clean, Food & drinks was great, Entertainment was good, nice staff, would like to thank Malek for takein my son & girlfreind out for the night & makein us all feel very welcome to your hotel he is a lovely lad thanks for a good holiday 🇹🇳 x

!! Urgent Warning !! I leave the hint that the water in this hotel is not free and that the lack of heart and collaboration of the hotel staff does not help. Everyone is friendly while you have money after the smiles are over. (I notice that I had the money to pay for the water but they do not accept pennies, pennies that they gave it to me when I paid for drinks and other services). The atmosphere at the reception is heavy due to the constant come and go of complaints. I also leave the warning that the standard of HYGIENE is minimum and I leave photos to prove. Undercooked food and endless queues for eating and drinking with very slow services. In the end the All Inclusive service is survival and the animation horrible.

Clean, food ok but far to noisy and not what we were told , To many reps trying to get you to buy things so get a lot of hassle
