Good mosque
Certainly worth a visit. One of the few monuments to visit in the city.

Mosque located in the tourist area of Mahdia, located near a very busy crossroads. Obviously it is possible to identify it by looking at the sky: the square section minaret stands out in the skies of the town and overlooks any other building. It is possible to access inside but at times when there is no daily prayer, from the outside you immediately notice that it is well kept. The external portals are brightly colored and contrast with the precarious houses that arise nearby. It is spectacular the succession of people, variously dressed, who go to prayer called by the muezzin.
