The tasks of the National Social Security Fund are to act in: The family benefits system (family grants, the increase in the single wage, and the granting of rest in the occasion of the increase in the child and the rest of the young currency). Social insurance system (death grant and capital upon death). The system of old-age, disability and survivors' pension schemes for workers and non-wage-earners, as well as the supplementary system of allowances for workers in the non-agricultural sector with wages exceeding 6 times the guaranteed professional minimum wage. The fund also finances social work expenditures and ensures the implementation of bilateral social security agreements. The National Social Security Fund is governed by a Board of Directors chaired by a Director General appointed by decree. The Board of Directors is composed of the following members: Three members representing the state. Four members represent the most representative norms organizations. Four members represent the most representative trade union organizations.
