Hotel St Georges Tunis

I booked online but never stayed at this place . Canceled reservation but my CC was charged. It did say on their web site free cancellation. I am outside Tunis and they have no email to contact them. I can not call them. This is rip off

Dirty and one of the most neglected hotels i have stayed so far. the hotel, as a whole, needs an extensive maintenance and care. Normally, this hotel shouldnt host even a customer. However, there isnt, or i havent seen any new construction in the center or suburb of Tunis. I am sure of that most of the customers who have chosen this hotel did it just because they had to. Because no cheap alternatives in that location. The street on which the hotel locates isnt safe, men at the front desk dont seem reliable (one of them tried to overcharge me but i didnt let). The blanket on our bed was without a cover, i dont know how many times it was used before us, you dont even want to touch. No slipper, no hair dryer, squeaking bed. You can hear any sound coming from next room or a person walking on corridor. The most important thing was the room with intense smell of smoke. If you dont smoke, you cant take it so long. I got bitten by lots of mosquitoes till morning. Billions of bacteries on the carpet. WiFi was good. Breakfast was poor. Nightmare :(

Okay place to stay clean rooms good location in the middle of Tunis but some employees are really rude!!!!!
