The only strong point of this place is the nature, with magnificent views over El Masri dam and picturesque hills surrounding. The restaurant is to avoid: very high prices for the food which is not tasty at all. Half of the stated meals doesn't exist, the other half is not what is meant to be (emincée de boeuf instead of filet, obviously for the price of filet). Food served cold. Resembles more some fast-food point for truck drivers on GP1. The service leaves much to be desired. Clientelle of the resto in general is of low class. A piece of advice: take your own food and make a picnic on the flankering side of the dam.

We spent the afternoon in Dar Salma. It's hard to describe how beautiful the place is. It is surrounded by mountains and water. Wooden stairs take you right to the top of the mountain where you find the restaurant. Benches are available if you need to take a break or to sit down for a moment to enjoy the view on your way up or down. It's definitely a must see when visiting Tunisia. As far as I know, there is no public transportation to get you there but it's very easy to get there by car.

The one who has this restaurant (dar selma) has kind of men who block the road to the camping station for obligate us to go to his restaurant I dont advice people to go to the restaurant because it’s a scammer.

Becareful , the owner of the host put many guys to denied any one stay amazing with the view !!! you should enter and pay else you should back and no police and no security there
