As first of its kind in Sfax. I have to say it's worth a 5 stars rating. Cutely designed. The menu is good as well. Plenty of plates to choose from. I enjoyed being there and the food was delicious.
Update: I have been invited back with my wife to give the restaurant another chance. I am honestly surprised by the improvements they have made and thus changing my initial review.
First of all they've removed the tuna from the menu which was a major disappointment during my first visit. Now, that they have decided to only include it during the fishing season they get a thumbs up. The rice is a lot better comparing to the one they had previously, The Nigiri was a bit on the big size and you couldn't eat in in one go. However, I have mentioned that and they are willing to adjust it. the atmosphere was good and the restaurant design feels cozy. All the other variants I have tried were good. The idea of the Crunchy Cheesy was a funny one though! Something that Tunisians would eat, specially if they feel hesitant to try raw fish for the first time.
Overall, I can honestly say that it was the best sushi I've had in Tunisia!
waited an hour and a half for my food to arrive, i think that says it all
Really nice restaurant. The place is clean and the interior design makes you feel like you are in the right spot for Sushi. Sushi is good and the stuff is courteous.
I'm giving it 4 stars because it may not be the best sushi I've ever had, but I was presently surprised for sfax. The fish was good, the rolls were decent, the restaurant was beautiful if not a bit small.
I'm knocking off a point for the fact that out crunchy roll was made with breadcrumbs and not tempura or panko.... also I asked what kind of cheese was in the rolls and he said "you know, cheese" I don't know actually, because in sfax there is real cheese and composite cheese, and I'm not going to pay 20 plus dinar for fake cheese.
Still, for sfax this place was actually pretty nice and the sushi was delicious enough.
