Hasdrubal Thalassa & Spa Djerba Hotel

Worst hotel I have been to, and I went to it with my wife for a special occasion during Christmas time because so many people recommended it, we didn't get any welcome at the beginning, they actually took a while to find our reservation, didn't feel we were expected at all, and to everyone this hotel may sell you a double online, but they do not have a double bed, at least that is what they told us, the spa that we went looking to just find something good in the hotel was empty, and I am not talking about clients and visitors, I mean we set there for an hour for a person to come and receive us and then all the offers were disappointing and didn't have any couples offers which they miss informed us about, and the Spa part was closed!! when we tried to give feedback and give them a chance the guy literally laughed at us and started being defense and made us angry and frustrated when we were just trying to salvage our vacation. And there is more the towels and bath weren't clean properly, when we used the bath the water turned brown before we dip a finger in it, and finally we went to the bar trying to drink and forget to find out that half the cocktails in the menu aren't available and I asked for some tapas and there was none, luckily the bar tender was actually nice and salvaged some pistachios and olives to serve us with our drinks, which I was amazed to be something exceptional to have in a 5 stars hotel. A very disappointing experience overall.

Worst 5 star hotel I have ever been to in Tunisia, even worse, when we said that we aren't happy with the service to the reception, he didn't even apologize or said we'll fix it. He got us even more frustrated with technicalities instead of focusing on what's actually frustrating us. I wouldn't recommend to anyone 0/5.

Good service.. Good place and calm

The hotel is beautiful, very clean, spacious and with a great team. We felt welcome every single moment. I would add more activities for the guests. They do have tennis and the swimming pools.
