I loved the view. Everything is so beautiful and the quality of the staff, breakfast and room is unique and I think I've never been at a place like that.

Stunningly poor service as a day guest. Made a reservation for Saturday, when we arrived they said that we had to come back the next day since our reservation was for Sunday. When we called the next day they said that they cancelled our reservation since we didn't show up on Saturday...but we did and they said that our reservation was for Sunday! Unbelievable that they cannot get the days right. No apologies or anything, in fact the woman just hung up when she said that our reservation was cancelled. I guess they don't need any business from locals! Extremely disappointing.

This is not a 5stars. I visited this place for a week as it was the selected hotel for an event in Monastir where all guests booked here. The reception place, and decor is nice as well as the cocktail staff. However the reception is pleasant for the first 2 minutes, then quite brief and rude. I asked for an early check-in, they said nothing and just sat me there. I explained that I needed to work so if it wasn't possible to check in, at least indicate me an area where I could Skype. They replied rudely saying that anywhere was ol. I had to asked for the WiFi and find a place with a plug around the bar. Then I got my room early around 10am. I arrive during the global health crisis where a high level of hygiene is expected and even more in a 5stars. The only think that was made in my room was the sheets, but I found hair in it.. Also, the pillows are the one you have a countryside family home (flat and full of harden cotton balls inside). Frankly, I have much better pillows in a warehouse squat. Also nothing was clean (please check the pictures I posted). The toilets were dirty, the shower haven't been thoroughly cleans in months (you see the black greasy human remain along the bathtub sides), the floor had sand, feet marks and dirt, all door handles and switches haven't been cleaned in months either (greasy fingers marks all over) which was in the same state than the elevator door, which doesn't really has its doors closed. All the surfaces, counter tops, desks, night stands, etc were dirty, and there were food stains onto the bed cover and the couch. The windows do not close properly, the AC is non existent.. You need to activate the heat during the day that is functioning as an AC. However after 5pm, its heating up the whole place. No slippers, no laundry bags with the prices (which was apparently not normal) and no key to the safe as you need to request it from the reception... The flyers as well as the message door are all destroyed and stained. You do not want to touch any of those.. And the phone is disgusting as well. I requested to change rooms, which happened thanks to the low occupancy rate during this time. It was cleanish.. I had to buy wipes and clean myself all handles, switches etc. The breakfast is very poor. If you dare to use the coffee machine, you'll get a coffee molasse that's undrinkable. If you take the filter coffee, it depends on the day: sometimes it tastes like a coffee, and other majority of the time you have the taste of the Tunisian tab water which makes it undrinkable. I had lunch using room service, and it was depressing. Vegetables are canned one (carrot and peas), the squids are the frozen fried rings, and the basket of fruits had half of them beginning to rot, or in poor shape. I had dinner once as well on the sport : this is a canteen quality: kid soups with pasta in it, the meat is dry, Tunisian pastas too, starters taste plain and the deserts are the king you get at a low cost super market. The place settings (plates, cuttlery) were not really clean as dried food was on it and water marks as well. Your safe bet: the fresh pasta with the sauce and the sodas or bottled water. Or actually, just take a cab and go to the city center! Talking about cab: DO NOT USE THEIR SERVICE. It is 2minutes away from the airport and will make you pay 20 dinars, while the price is actually between 1 or 2 with the meter. They make you pay the same price to go to the city center, when it's actually between 3 and 5 dinars MAX. if you protest or ask why, the reception will just tell you off and hang up on you. They also have covid "measures" in place : thing on the floor to desynfect your shoes, temperature taking, and the x-ray thingy that were used maybe once. The only thing that's worth it is the spa, even though I couldn't enjoy the big pool and spa path, as they forgot to fill them up with water in the morning. So yeah.. Make up your mind.. But if you think that the suites are better.. Think twice

A ROYAL HOLIIIDAY, luxurious comforts, lovely rooms, service, food was great and best staff ever they make you feel like a royalty. It's the most beautiful place we have ever stayed.

Had a great holiday here, most beautiful hotel of all the hotels at monastir. Extremely friendly staff as well 😁
