The Higher Institute of Nursing Sciences of Tunis is created by Decree No. 2006 - 2120 of 31 July 2006. The institution is placed under the supervision of the ministries of higher education and public health subject to the provisions of the Article 7 of Law No. 89-70 of 28 July 1989. The institute provides specialized training in nursing under the LMD system (Bachelor, Master and PhD). The first graduating class of registered nurses from the ISSIT dates back to June 2009. From the start of the 2013-2014 academic year, we provide ISSIT with a Master's degree. We plan to provide PhD training in a few years.
