This museum is a good introduction to Tunisian marine life. Many of the exhibits have trilingual panels (English, Arabic, French). Open Tuesday to Sunday, from 10 am to 5 pm. Entrance is affordable, 1 TND/child, 2 TND/adult. Worth a visit.
Building is very nice, contents are very interesting...
Nice to visit such museum and great to have one in Tunisia.
It could be much more better if well entertained, improve conditions and perform contents...
It gives impression of private collection with no enough resources to keep in good condition. And not a national museum!
People can afford more expensive entry fees for better contents...
Entry is actually almost for free...
A very good place
There you find all types of fish , sharks and others it is good as an experience
It is interesting to see the skeleton of a big sea animal, a whale? You would have thought it was some mini dinosaur. One imagined whether the fish from which this skeleton came was caught in the Mediterranean area. It looks so big. The museum for oceanography as this site is otherwise called looked rather small but it houses some very interesting relics, like this skeleton, that a visitor will remember for a long time.
Not bad
