It is just so sad how the Tunisians have not preserved these historical treasures. Some like to argue to bring some items back from collections in Europe. I say what will become of those treasures? Current keepers in Europe spend millions of euro to maintain perfect temperature, humidity, and protection from UV light.

When I arrived in January 2020 I discovered the museum was closed. The grounds were open. Many broken Rman artifacts on display. As usually the view of the surrounding area is beautiful.

Very interesting historically but it is sad how little it is cared for like most of the sites around. Wasn't able to go in the museum because it was closed.

the museum is still closed November 2019 the surrounding archeological sight is open though, a few ruins to see with poor signage it was nice but i was not very impressed
