À very nice Maison du Hôte, beautiful details, everything is clean. The room I had was a bit small, not a lot of space to place the suitcase. Nicely decorated, the breakfast room is really beautiful, also the garden with the small pool. Everybody there is very friendly, the owner is a really interesting nice Woman and as well a great host. Would definitely recommend it and stay again for sure. BTW: the Gâteux a l'orange is amazing 👍😉

If you travel to Tunis, Tunisia ... you MUST stay at Dar Souad. It is like a North African/Mediterranean dream, with flowing colorful curtains, ancient stone work and mosaics ... and a court yard to lounge in and chat that is other-worldly. The food, oh the breakfasts, were fantastique!!! Freshly prepared breads, jams made with local dates, etc., and honey fresh from the hive-comb. The owner is a lovely human being, fascinating conversationalist, this place is well located, not far from Carthage, etc. etc. This place has all the modern conveniences, yet is built within an ancient Tunisian structure that will transport you to another time.
