If you're a foreigner, avoid this restaurant at any cost, the quality of food is very bad. And if you are already inside, remember: always pay while ordering; they will try to make you pay after eating, doubling the price if necessary with any excuse.
Giving it 5 because of other 'bad' reviews. It is incredibly busy given the number of people in and around the Souk so, yes service may be a bit slow..... but slow is good. Take your time, relax, people watching and sipping mint tea. Waitress who served me was very polite, friendly and helpful. Shukran 👍
I asked for 2 "direct cafes" and 2 croissants for the waitress changed the 2 simple direct by lavazza and I paid 9 dinars instead of 5 dinars "scammers" pffff
