Smaller museum hidden in narrow streets of old medina. Shows home of wealthy tunisian family in the past. Not guided, but paper with information is provided in english, german and other languages. Room are fully furnished, everything is well maintained by the owner.

One of the best examples of a traditional Tunisian home (of the bourgeois), preserved as if it is in some sort of time warp. Beautiful collections of native decor from clothing, bathing to the kitchen. Beautiful terrace upstairs to snap great landscape photos of Sousse

Wonderful ! Here you can learn and see so many things about Tunisians old style families. The museum is a well preserved house of a middle class Tunisian family with first and second wives. All the furniture, many personal objects and clothes are there . Don't forget visit the terrace !

Less than 5 minutes walk from Ribat, along the wall. Recommended if you want a glimpse into traditional home.
