Stayed a week at the Oxala House in January 2014. Very lovely more natural setting with beautiful architecture and accessories. Villa was very comfy and had everything we needed. Wifi could have been stronger and some of the furniture and flooring was a little dirty. Host spoke some English but my travel partner also spoke another dialect of Arabic so we had no problems. The on-site staff guy was very attentive and nice, but sometimes a little strange. He only speaks arabic but you can always call the host for help any time of the day. I really enjoyed being able to walk the farm seeing the animals fruit and veggies in the morning and socializing with the cute cat and Mr. Batuta the donkey. It's a great location that is not too far but is far enough away from the busier areas. The locals around the farm can take you on a horse ride on the beach. It was advertised as an eco-friendly place but was more working towards that than actually there. Overall I feel it was a really wonderful and unique find. I recommend it!

The residence is very pleasant (with the small swimming pool in the center and the fruit trees), the decor of the accommodation is well chosen and above all the reception was top notch. A big thank you to our host Zouheir for these many knowledgeable tips that allowed us to quickly discover the good plans of the island, with even live assistance on WhatsApp in some cases. Zouheir does not at any time try to sell us anything but is happy to share his passion for the island: exemplary tourism! We spent an extra week there with our family!
