The Ashkal Nature Reserve Visitor Center contains valuable information about the reserve and its biological diversity, and it contains mummies for birds and mammals that live in the reserve. It also displays the activities of the population in the park and the date of its establishment. It is divided into three domes, each dome tells a part of the natural history of the reserve and overlooks the unique aesthetic view of Lake Ashkal.

The most interesting is the tour of the park 5 km + return it takes at least 4 hours. To get from Bizerte the taxi is worth 90 dn, from Menzel Bourguiba or Mateur 70 dn

Can do better. The museum has not evolved since its creation in 1989. However, it gives an idea about the flora and fauna living in the park.
