Place Top Accueil Top Magnificent food. A place worth seeing

Here is the summary of our experience (do not miss the details below to learn the lessons for yourself): - Common areas: 4/5 -Our rooms: 2/5 (stinky air conditioner, unbearable noise from the outside no sound insulation, one of the rooms had its door stuck, it took HALF DAY to fix it !!) - Swimming pool: 3/5 (+/- clean) -Kitchen: 5/5 (the only strong point of the place) -Staff: Owner 0/5, others 5/5 We booked for 2 nights almost a month in advance via the establishment's official facebook page. 2 days before arriving we call to reconfirm (we are never careful enough). We are therefore told that there are no reservations in our name, and that supposedly the person who managed the reservations was fired and not authorized to use the facebbok page (..). After discussions with the owner, he confirms that there is a free room. Well we said to each other, no worries, incident to forget. Arrived at the scene, the owner boasts about his experience as a former CEO of hotels in the Gulf countries and shows us his photos with politicians of the time. Either way, so much the better for him. The next day he asks me curtly "M3Gallem, when are you leaving?" .. I then understood that he was expecting us to leave this very morning and that he was going to receive a large group at the beginning of afternoon and that he "welcomed us" because one of us is from Sidi Bou Said, his hometown (something he discovered after checking-in). After a prompt response on his lack of professionalism and arrogance which put him in his place, he offered to relocate us to the guest house next door "Henchir Dhhab" for the same price, which we had. accepted. Besides, Henchir Dhhab is 10 times better! Place to be strongly discouraged!
