Laşet Motel Bungolov

There were bugs and their corpes in the bungalov room. They can get rid of these easily with a pest control. Only good part is the service.

Comfortable room. Good breakfast. Bungolov location is very good. This hotel in small village. When you switch off balkony light you can see lots of stars

Clean. Warm. Friendly. Welcoming and definitely quiet. 15 km away from Şavşat in the middle of natural forest, just outside one of the oldest village Kocabey. The village is also a stop over before the beautiful small lake Karagöl (10 km). Since motel is high on the hill it has a very good view of the North mountain ridge with snow covered summits (it might disappear during summer). It has a central heating and solar powered hot water. The tap water is drinkable which is uncommon in cities. No kitchenette in the bungalow but motel personel can help for almost anything. Market shopping can be done in Şavşat however a bit far for daily coverage. Even though village loses its old styled wooden houses, Laşet motel is designed to protect this culture. So please don't underestimate the usage of wood though out the motel. Mete bey, the owner, helps you find your way in this beautiful nature, landscape and culture. Since Şavşat is located in the middle of the region, there are many places to visit depending on your taste. A rental car is a must if you are not here just for tacking, definitely 4w if you come in winter. Çıldır lake, Ardahan (origin of Kars cheese), Boğaztepe where there is a cheese museum... are just a few of them. You have two choices: come in spring and summer with many guests around for longer tracks and book in advance; or come in winter to own the whole place to experience the quietest period of your life and feel the harsh weather and cleanliness of the nature (check my photos to see my choice). I am sure you will book again for the next year too...

Its nature is very beautiful. You can feel the clean air. The breakfast was not good. We ordered a well as an extra. It wasn't edible and remained on the table as it was.
