Çöğürler

This station became an important point during our National Struggle. It was occupied by the Greeks and used as a logistics center. It also witnessed important developments for our army. The historical building seen in the old photographs was unconsciously demolished on the grounds that it was damaged. On the opposite side is the Turkish headquarters building, called the commander building. Unfortunately, it is neglected. I think it was used by private property right next to it. This building should be protected and National Struggle period museums should be included among the protected buildings that never existed.
