Hisarcık Before the Ottoman Empire
The oldest historical ruins that can be found in Hisarcık, which is an accident center of Kütahya province, are about 1900-2000 years old. Considering the visual characteristics and architectural styles of the ancient stones from various parts of the region, it is seen that they have the same characteristics as the Roman ruins found in Çavdarhisar.
Gazi Umur Bey and 13th century by Rasul Seydi and his companions who participated in the conquest of the region. Muslim Turks were converted into the Turkish soil, Hisarcik Germiyanoğulların Central Kütahya, the village of Eğrigöz accident continued to exist as a village. After the collapse of the Germiyanoğulları principality was included in the Ottoman lands.
As a result, Hisarcik was first conquered during the Germiyanoğulları period and became the first Muslim to settle in the Turkish territory and Seydi Rasul was the one who settled there. The social and economic structure, which was established by Seydi Rasul and his friends in the village, continued for centuries, including the Ottoman period.
As can be seen above, the Seydi Rasul Tekkes, which is of great importance for the history of Hisarcık, has remained very little today. One of them is Sancağı Şeriftir, who was sent to the Tekke Mosque with Sultan Abdülhamit Khan Tuğra on 1325/1907 and to the reserve staff gathered in 1324. This precious asset, which has been thrown from there like a piece of cloth, which is not known for many years, has been protected by sensitive people in recent years. However, the sanctuary of the shawl has lost its original state and is in danger of extinction.
During the national struggle, the Greeks who occupied the other centers of the region did not enter Hisarcik. But by force and oppression, the people seized their animals and food in the fields and on remote farms. The fact that the Greeks did not enter the village facilitated the transfer of the goods and materials obtained to the Kuva-i Milliye units, and the headman of the time, Kalaycı Halil, had been added to the Turkish troops.
Hisarcık in the Republican Period
After the administration of the Republic announced on October 29, 1923, Hisarcik remained attached to Emet District of Kütahya Province.
The fortune of Hisarcik began to change after the opening of the Boron mine in 1958 as a result of investigations by the German delegation. A plant and washing plant was established by Etibank for the operation of the mine.
The ore that was ready for processing was started to be transported to Bandırma, where the processing factory with trucks belonging to the cooperatives established in Hisarcık was located.
As a result of this vitality brought by the mine, the town was rapidly developed. After this development, secondary school was opened in 1966.
In 1967, the municipal organization was established and in 1968, electrical installations were established. The people of Hisarcık, whose population grew rapidly due to the Boron mine, did not stay idle and began to look for ways to build a new factory to wash and concentrate the kaolin, quartz and feldspar materials in the immediate vicinity. Finally, in 1970, Hisarko was established with the participation of many workers and people abroad. Founded in 1975, the construction of the facilities was completed in a short period of time and the processing machines were connected with the German company Netzsch. However, this enormous attempt was met with the introduction of the coup on 12 September. In 1981, Kütahya Governorship, Esbank, Special Provincial Administration, Hisarcık Municipality and Kütahya Porcelain Hisarko, along with the company became partners and the factory changed to Hisersan. Entrepreneur, hard-working, honest, friendly, good-favors Municipality is a beautiful, livable district with 70% of the world's Boron reserves.
I appreciate their service
