Very thorough and gentle experience. Staff put me at ease and the whole process was explained to me clearly. Definitely a must during your stay in Konya for a traditional hamam experience at an excellent price :)

This place is such a nice traditional women only Turkish bath. The whole hammam experience (scrub and massage) is 60 TL. You get your own cabin to change and lock your things. There are no towels arround, I am sure there are if you ask, but better bring yours. They have slippers and hairdryer. The women are very nice and sweet. It's definitely a very authentic and relaxing hammam. Wholeheartedly recommend :)

After being in Konya for 10 days because my travel companion fractured her hip while we were visiting the Mevlana Museum, I sorely needed to relax and refresh. This Hamam is most authentic. All marble surroundings. You can’t be modest here young and old women alike are naked washing at their basins. The scub and massage was wonderful. I was cleaned literally from head to toe. It’s a fabulous experience for a western adventurer.

The bath, located between Şerafeddin Mosque and Şems-i Tebrizi in Konya, was built by Karamanoğlu II. During the time of Ibrahim Bey, XV. It was built in the century. The bathhouse was repaired in 1754. The bath, which is made of cut stone and rubble stone and has a double bath plan, consists of cold, warm and hot sections. The domes covering the spaces that make up the parts of the bath were destroyed and renewed with wooden domes. The most important part of the bath is 3 m. It is a pool made of white and purple marble in diameter. There is also a pool with leaf fountain in the women's section. The square room dressing room and the warm room are connected to each other by round arched doors. The hot room has a cruciform plan, consists of three iwans and is covered by a central dome. Small domes on the side sections cover the private rooms.
