Pammukale Thermal Pools is one of the best tourist attraction in Turkey, its located just around Hierapolos. It’s a great place to walk around with beautiful mountain and nature ruins. The pool has hot water in it, the steam from the hot spring made the place even more beautiful. The place is even more beautiful during sunset.

Read mixed reviews, but we loved it. Start at bottom and walk up. Gets better as you go. Depending on time of year, a lot of the pools are dry, but still plenty. It is crowded tough.

If you are in turkey and you don't visit Pamukkale, so your trip is incomplete. Best way for day trip to pamukkale is from Antalya by bus. I booked tour from my hotel in 60 dollars. The cost includes pick and drop from hotel, buffet lunch and dinner, all entrances, wine tasting visit, stone factory, hot spring for swimming, pamukkale which includes 3 to 4 sites. The trip starts at 6:30 am and you will back to hotel at around 10-11 pm. One of the best and organized trip i had. Pamukkale is really beautiful and historical site that everyone should visit at least once in a life. You can stay there as well. Other activities includes hot air balloon, paragliding etc. Must must visit place in turkey.

Although the formations are really cool, management seems to be limiting the amount of water they allow to flow so not many of the pools are actually filled up. It's great to walk in the flowing hot water though.

Probably one of the best experiences I had in Turkey. This is a must. I love this place. I could spend days here.
