It is stated that Aksak Timur, who was known to have settled in İdil district of Şırnak in 1387 and lived in this region for a long time, has many other works besides the Timur Fountain in the district. Timur Fountain, in front of the Virgin Mary Church, where tourists coming to the district do not pass, is known as the only work of Aksak Timur (1336-1405) who lived here for a long time by settling in the region in 1387. While the inhabitants of the region suggest that Timur has other works, it also amazes those who see the nine-mouth water well in İdil's Peçenek village. Approximately 15 meters deep, 20 meters long and 4 meters wide, the water cistern with its work in the center of İdil district of Timur. it has similarity.

It is an important tourist attraction as it is the only historical monument called Timur, but it needs renovation.
