The domed yenicam was built in 1954. Akyazı was named with this name since it was the first domed in the years it was built. It collapsed as it was insufficient in the face of the increasing population and was rebuilt with the contributions of Cevat Ayhan, one of our country's rare politicians, and the people, and was opened to worship in 2017. Its name has been changed as CEVAT AYHAN KUBBELİ YENİCAMİ. It has a congregation capacity of close to a thousand people. May God accept your worship.
