If you are looking for a bank with good English services, I do not recommend HSBC. The staff at the branch are kind and helpful, but even though HSBC is an international bank, we were totally surprised after a year of banking with HSBC Turkey to find out that do not provide English statements and charge 63 TRY for a short letter confirming we had a joint account with the bank. The mobile application is not user friendly either. I recommend singing up to a Turkish bank and you will receive a much better English service (e.g. the Ziraat mobile app is fantastic and Is Banaksi provide English statements).

They waited 2 weeks for a small account. Last time I went, I canceled. Staff very indifferent. I advise you to make your transaction with this bank from another branch. Otherwise, you will not be able to recover your transaction.
