If you are heading into Bulgaria and you are told to park you car on the white stones parking, please consider to take another border crossing (maybe consider to go to Europe via Greece) because it took us 12 hours for example and we were parked in the middle of the parking place. After the parking place, some other long waiting areas and queues are coming! Also another hint if you are EU citizen: cross the border on a village crossing point or maybe consider a non-patrolling crossing point because the moment you are in Bulgaria, it does not make any sense if you don't have the EXIT stamp from Turkey / ENTRY stamp from Bulgaria.

We live in a strange world. While Turkey applied 50 TL exit fee for Turks, there is 1 (!), in better case 2 policeman checking passports for bus passengers crossing from Turkey to Bulgaria. Literally one policeman for tens of buses and hundreds of people, this of course leads to huge waitings, delays and missing connections! This has to be improved.

Nice border crossing, but it’s a little scary, there’s gunned man everywhere, but it’s understandable given the location. The officers were screaming at me at the beginning “WHERE IS YOUR SCHENGEN VISA?!!!” I had to explain to them that Mexicans don’t need a visa to enter Europe, after that they started being cool haha
