Marufiye Madrasah, one of the historical madrasas of Mardin, is located to the north of Shar Quarter. First of all, let's talk about the Marufiye Madrasah which we recommend you to include in your trip list. The madrasa, whose inscription has not survived until today, is also known as Artuki of Beyt or Hacı Maruf Madrasa. If we look at the architectural features, the madrasa XIII. century is estimated to be made. Although Marufiye Madrasah is in a very ruined state today; Like its exterior architecture, its interior has a very rich appearance. This medrese is located in the upper part of Artuklu Primary School in the Mardin Sar District. His inscription couldn't survive. Based on its architectural structure, the madrasah is thought to have been built in the beginning of XIII century.
