Yeşilli Mosque (Hisariçi Mosque) - Balıkesir It is not known who built the mosque in Eski Kuyumcular Quarter. Only in Külahçıza from the inscription on the mosque Haji Mustafa Efendi that it was repaired in 1786. The mosque is a small rectangular building with a wooden roof. Because it is painted in green color, it is known among the people with the name Yeşilli Mosque. The mosque, which is slightly higher than the ground, has a double winged congregation place. A ladder leads up to the women's upstairs. The place of worship is very simple and there are three columns on each side of the mihrab whose bases are embedded in the wall. There are windows and friezes on the surfaces between the columns. The mihrab which protrudes outward is quite plain. Inside the mihrab, XIX. In the second half of the 18th century, the motif of light is very common, and the medallion on the hill shows God. The wooden pulpit, which is quite simple, has been painted and has lost its character. On the entrance door, there is a women's house with a view of a balcony based on six wooden columns. The mosque's stone minaret is exited from the last congregation. Under the cylindrical minaret, the series of mucarnasses draw attention.
