It was repaired in 1956-57 and the minaret was added and became a mosque. The minaret made of cut stone has 60 steps and its door is inside the mosque. The fountain next to it is the Ahi Evren Fountain (1911-12). It is rumored that the mausoleum was used as a lodge during the time and that this dervish lodge was made by Sheikh Halit Efendi and Sheikh Hasan Dede.
