The place is holy and spiritual, the nature is beautiful, it is close to antient city Ephesus, you can find many souvenirs to buy for present and very authentic icons of Holy Mother in bizantium stile made on wood.

This is a must visit for especially Christians. Might be a surprise as it is not advertised. They charge a tourist entrance which is actually unacceptable. There is a little walk to the house and after the house you can go by a very green walking path see and/or drink the holy water too. There is a cefeteria next to it so some water and there is certainly available. If you're lucky you can also witness a wedding or other ceremony right next to the house.
