Park Dedeman Gaziantep

I really enjoyed my accommodation in the hotel. It's located in the heart of Gazientap, the rooms are big and clean, not to mention the staff who were very friendly and helpful.

The air conditioning in the room wasn't working, meaning at the demperature was unconfortably high. Raised the issue with the front desk staff. They sent a technician to fix it. Problem remained. Called the desk again, they said they would look into it and then ignored my requrst. Went to speak to them in person. They told me to wait 30 minutes and the issue would somehow fix itself. Asked to change room. Same problem. Eventually learnt from a Turkish speaking colleague that the centralised air conditioning system was not working. Asked to leave the hotel. Got threatened to be charged for BOTH rooms because I was leaving. Argued that I had only spent 1.5 hours at the hotel, and as a dissatisfied customer, I shouldn't pay for anything - paying for two rooms was out of question. More discussions followed, with aggressive front office staff unwilling to compromise. Asked to speak to the owner. Front office staff called the owner, and after more discussions he agreed to not make me pay. I've never been met with such bad customer service in any hotel - deeply disappointed, and would not recommend staying here to anyone.
