I have spend much of my adult life looking for boots I can get my foot into because of my high arch. On a rainy Saturday I ventured into the boot store at Turkey Creek. I explained my problem to Lori. She took over an hours to help me find a pair of boots I could wear. I have never had this level of customer service anywhere. She doesn’t work on commission, so she definitely should be given a raise. The other staff was friendly, but Lori was amazing. The store was well stocked and clean. Prices were normal for quality boots. I left the store with a wonderful new pair of boots and I am a very satisfied customer!

I'm not sure how to convey this without sounding like a paid-review shill, but I assure any reader, I'm a real 1st-time customer. I was truly thunderstruck by the difference in customer service that I received in July. I came in looking for an all leather shoe (required for a school program) after striking out elsewhere in Knoxville. A guy named "Chuck" not only helped size me for boots, but gave me multiple suggestions. When we couldn't find what we needed in-store, he found it online and offered competitive pricing. When the shoe arrived at my house, it was just a tad too tight. I came back to French's & another gentleman & his staff fixed everything for me in less than 5mins (exchanging mine for the next half-size up). My perfectly sized, oil/slip resistant, leather red wings just arrived and they fit great. I couldn't have got this kind of service online (or at most retailers). Friendly, cool staff. French's is now my 1st choice for footwear.

I found what I was looking for, a pair of slip on work boots as it is getting harder for me to bend down and tie my shoes as I get older and have back problems. There was a very wide selection of what I was looking for. I only gave 3 stars because the only person that spoke to me for the half hour I was in there was upon checkout taking my money.
