The building is very neglected. I don't understand how the people who live in the house next door do not intervene and do not attempt. It's officially everywhere in trash. There is no headman or no leader of this neighborhood, such a historical building certainly deserves 5 stars, but our people are unfortunately very ignorant.

I don't understand why we are a nation that doesn't care about history. Let's do a restoration that is destroyed in ruins, let's open it to tourism. Better than alcoholics. Smells of urine even outdoors. Is it better for our image to stay that way?

Located on Bakkal Street in Ayvalık Cunda Island, the historical church is located below the mill where the Kent library is located. Since there is no clear and comprehensive archeological study about the church ruins, which you can easily see while passing by the sea, there is not much data about its past. The church, which is said to have been built in 1850, has 3 walls remaining until today. The view of Ayvalık, which you will see when you look through the windows of the remaining walls, can make you feel in a time machine. You can visit the church, which you can easily go on foot, while exploring the streets of Cunda.
