The Lagoon Has A Total Area Of 16.430 Hectares. Transportation is provided via Adana-Karataş-Yumurtalık Road (70 Km) or Adana Ceyhan-Yumurtalık Road (90 Km). It creates a protected natural environment for the plant and animal species in the lake lagoons on the Seyhan-Ceyhan Delta and the rare plant species such as Aleppo Pine (Pinus Halepensis). The National Park also has the feature of an area where 2 species of sea turtles, Caretta Caretta and especially Chelonia Mydas, survive.
