Came in here from Sofia. The station looks like it underwent some renovation and is completely updated. It was very early when I arrived so things may have been closed but I didn't see any restaurants or services beyond ticket sales. The other thing that was a bit confusing was access to taxis or public transport. I had to walk towards the main Street to find anything.

The marmaray (high speed train) is fantastic! Travel with ease along the coast of the Sea of Marmara without having to worry about Istanbul traffic! Your duration of travel is always predicted correctly! Don’t worry about rushing to catch the train, a new one arrived every 15 minutes! The cost for a single ride is 5.70 tl when using your Istanbul transit card but it becomes cheaper when you tap out when leaving your destination station. Initial cost - 5.70 tl Halkalı to Uskadar - tap out 2.45tl returned to my card = the trip from Halkalı to Uskadar only costs 3.25tl
