Aydos forest is the last resort still not destroyed by the growth of urbanization. See defrostration scene at background. This unique and forgotten castle is under renovation and construction work is ongoing.

Unfortunatelly this place could be amazing if taken care off. Hard to get to it from the bothers of the forest and when you get there it is hard to get to the top of the castle too.. very old wooden stairs, not safe. But if you manage to get to it anyway view is stunning. You can use the entrance of the forest fire station, they would open the gate to the ones who ask.

A very high, nice view and a very ancient historical place which deserves visiting.. Above that, you will also enjoy the forests while climbing up to the top of Aydos...

Aydos castle is beautiful traditional place in Istanbul Asia side. Now, restoration proceed its, but you can travel.
