Disappointed. I had to fly on December 21 at noon from Madrid to Istanbul but they had us waiting 3 hours on the plane for “wind” when planes took off and landed before and after the time of our flight. We were offered a hotel to leave at 4am but we found out when we arrived at the airport at 2am that the flight was at 6am, although we ended up leaving at 7am. Conclusion we lost 19h of being in Istanbul with hotel night and excursion reservations. Horrible.

The airport is very far there is no metro and few buses, the new tourist can not identify it and where it is heading and also after 1 night there are no buses only taxi and hey very expensive Galfier Tvlk often nearly $ 50 dollars as the minimum amount I do not recommend I advise the direction to Sabiha airport is better
