This hotel is amazing!! Staying there was one of the best experiences. Extremely welcoming and helpful staff, would come back just to interact with them again. Breakfast was absolutely delicious (plus considering some covid restrictions they did an amazing job at making it versatile each day). We stayed at two different rooms (downstairs with the garden view, upstairs with the balcony) and both were great. The family room view is everything! Very clean, new facilities, amazing service overall. It’s a boutique hotel, very cozy, and the location is absolutely perfect. Thank you so much for making our stay in Istanbul unforgettable!

We stayed at the Poem Hotel for an absoloutely wonderful 3 nights! on arrival we were greeted with our first Turkish tea and some really helpful advice about the local area, recommendations and how to get around. Our room had a sea view and we were blown away when we first walked into the room. The windows all opened up onto the magical ocean sun set. The architecture is beautiful in the rooms and in the entire hotel, outside and in. It was absolutely spotless and the breakfast was delicious. The location is perfect, in walking distance to lots of restaurants and also the mosques and Turkish market and Egyptian spice market.

Perfect location: close to Sultanahmet and very quite. Delicious breakfast. Interesting styling of the hotel, helpful staff. The room was newly furbished and had all we need. The sea view was great if you look at the horizon. If you look below than you could see not very nice courtyard. But it has nothing to do with the hotel. The only downside was that the door to the bathroom opened inside which was not comfortable as the bathroom in our room was quite small.

My friend and I were in this hotel at the end of September 2020. It is nice and cozy, situated near the main historical places. Safe. The rooms are designed and called by the names of famous writers. Staff is very polite and welcoming. Breakfasts are tasty and served with love and attention. Loved this place and definitely recommend it. The price is more than convinient.

The hotel is a couple of streets away from Hagia Sophia and the Blue Mosque, which makes it a very central place for you to enjoy the touristic attractions. Besides, it is located in a calm street so you don't get that busy traffic in front of the hotel. The owners are a lovely couple who makes you feel at home. Special side dishes (Turkish meze) flavour up the breakfast which is already very rich. All the staff members in the hotel have that big smile upon their faces. You can feel the family atmosphere in every detail. The room was clean. My bed was really really comfortable and the terrace had a panoramic view of the Bosphorus that I won't ever forget. The concept of the hotel is also dreamy, embedded with names of different literary figures. I can assure that you will be going on a journey that you will always look back to.
