I regret stepping in this hotel. - The lobby was a disappointment. It looked like a lobby a cheap, impoverished hotel would have. This was disappointing and unexpected for a Crown Plaza hotel. - The rooms are wearing out, yucky, and uncomfortable. The curtains are tearing apart, it smells like rotten fabric, and the mattresses and and beddings seem like they were purchased very cheaply. - There's a huge pole in the middle of every room, which drives you nuts. - The layout and interior are not great. Even motels did a better job than you. - There are only two power outlets, and they're in the center of the rooms, very far away from the beds. They aren't even international outlets. - The lighting in the rooms are terrible. There isn't enough light to stay comfortable, and it's hard to see in this room at night. For a Crown Plaza hotel, I am very disappointed.

Crowne Plaza Harbiye has surely become our home away from home. It's a bit of a walk from Taksim Square; but everything else is excellent. We were warmly welcomed by Sahra and Hasan upon check-in; and courteously assisted by Mert upon check-out. Mehmet at the bar was also a pleasure to interact with. We were upgraded to probably one of the best rooms at the property, with great views of the surroundings, huge space, a lot of windows, and super comfortable beddings and fixtures. One observation that's worth highlighting is that everytime we returned to the hotel from outside, one of the elevators on the lobby/ground floor was ALWAYS open and available for use; thus we didn't have to wait. This demonstrated attention to detail towards customer convenience. Thank you, Crowne Plaza, for maintaining this excellent service.
