Great Hotel, Great Service!

I have been staying in this hotel for eight nights since four days ago. I chose this hotel again during my trip to Istanbul, considering that I have stayed in this hotel in the past years, but unfortunately they do not have the memory and service of previous years and do not provide awful room service. So every day they have a defect in one part and then breakfast is really nonsense. In previous trips, everything was fine, but this time I really regret coming to this hotel and I do not recommend it to anyone.

I stay in this hotel for 3 nights. A very big a modern CASTLE staff are polite and kind, they make me feel good. I will definitely come back here again for sure. Dritan Gjoka

1) It is not close to public transport. There are not enough shops near the hotel. so in terms of location it is not convenient 2) There is a free shuttle service which is supposed transfer people to the city centre once an hour, but the shuttle driver does not care about customer service. As far as he can, he tries to avoid leaving the hotel. He attempts to find an excuse refrain from moving. One day, it was raining and it was just my wife and I that needed transfer to the city centre. He was reluctant to start his car, because he believed it was not worth to move just for 2 people. On the last day, my wife and I wanted to go to the city centre in order to go to the airport. Just because we had 1 suitcase and despite his car was vacant, he refused to take us to the city centre, because he said his responsibility was to carry people only, not suitcase. So, we had to get a taxi and pay a lot of money to go to the city centre, just because we had 1 suitcase. 3) On the first day of our accommodation, once we entered our room, there was a very strong smell of cigarette smoke in the room. Smoking in the rooms of this hotel is allowed and the cleaners had not used air freshener to disinfect the air of the room, before giving the room to us. 4) the worst thing about this hotel which was a very dishonest and fraudulent matter was that at the time of check out, the receptionist accused us of using the mini bar. This was an absolute lie, because they thought in the last minutes, they can reap off some more money from us. I was upset and I said we certainly had not touched the mini bar. The receptionist made a telephone call to his manager and the manager over the phone taught him to tell me that this issue had happened 6 days ago. I mean, when I suggested the receptionist to come with me back to the room so that I could show him that all of the chocolates and drinks of the mini bar were there and we had not eaten them at all, the receptionist had a chat with his manager over the phone and after he hang up, he said to me that: " not today, but you have used some of the chocolates of the mini bar 6 days ago." This was absolutely lie. 5) The bathrooms of this hotel do not have a very comfortable showers. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- My advice to people around the world: Just avoid this hotel in Istanbul. There are so many other great hotels in Istanbul in very good and convenient locations.
