A step back in time...

Good location, delicious food, friendly staff, affordable prices for a tavern. I personally find only two things disturbing. The first is to miss the setting for the plate-breaking and napkin-tossing type fun. Even if you are uncomfortable with this type of entertainment, you can have a pleasant time with your friends when you overlook, but sometimes you are not allowed to overlook because the pieces of the broken plate come to people sitting at the tables. We conveyed our discomfort in this regard to the employees on our last visit, and there were also those who conveyed them from other desks. The second thing is that the music is too loud. The loud noise coming from an unsettled sound system is added to the crowded hum in the environment.

Tepeköy, in my opinion, is the most special village of Gökçeada. It is a living Greek village in its true sense. The moment I sat in Meraklis's garden and tasted all those delicious appetizers was the moment when I felt the happiest while I was on the island. During the pandemic process, I find it appropriate to sit early for dinner and wake up in time before the place is full. For this reason, I could not witness its entertainment. The artichoke heart, mackerel, fried saganaki cheese, hot sage and 3 cheese pistachios were amazing. There is also Ouzo if you wish. Prices are appropriate according to the location and feature of the place and its quality.

We chose this place as a result of intense research on the island where we came for the first time. Good thing we did. It is very good both as appetizers and as space decoration. We paid 280 TL for 20 rakı, 3 kinds of appetizers, 2 plates of cheese paçanga pastry and 2 main courses. Taking care of us, Mr. Şeref almost never left the table and asked if you have a request. We did not go out because the comments of many popular places are bad. You can easily choose. Go by making a reservation.
